We’re thrilled to have the talented girls from the r house couture helping us spread our message!  They’ve created two beautiful necklace designs, each with three hand-stamped scoops representing our mission to support local business, strengthen the community and make connections.  They also have the word “sassy” hand-stamped on an attached pendant, reminding us all that when we are “lively, bold and full of spirit,” we can truly make a difference in our communities.

SO SASSY Necklace with Butterscotch Amber and Pink Vintage Glass

{DESCRIPTION}  two thick sterling silver charms, hand-stamped with three ice cream cones and sassy on a smaller charm. adorned with butterscotch amber and pink vintage glass. finished with a 1MM sterling silver bead ball chain in either 16”, 18” (standard) or 20” with sterling silver findings and sturdy sterling clasp.

{THE STORY BEHIND THE VINTAGE GLASS}  our local bead supplier has been fortunate to stumble across an unbelievable collection of clay core; mandrel wound beads that are over 60 years old! these beads were produced prior to the start of World War II by a factory that is now closed. the exact year they were produced is unknown, however we do know they were strung into necklaces in 1947 and were left untouched in storage for decades. they were recently uncovered and were offered to our local supplier by the factory owner’s grandchildren. divine, right? legitimate vintage. enjoy.
