We know you’re super excited to hear about Utah’s Next Top Sassy contest, but before we give you the details we wanted to introduce you to our two newest Sassies!

Say hello to Jennifer Hadfield from Tatertots & Jell-O and Jenny Eckton from formerly phread! We are so excited these gals are going to join us and can’t wait for them to participate in our first review night in February! (You can read their sassy little bios by clicking here.)

At the same time we bid a very fond, very tear-soaked farewell to Evonne, Kalli, Michelle and Quinn. We love these gals to pieces, but the recent baby boom (we’re talking 4 out of 5 Sassies birthing babies with 1 on the way) means motherhood trumps Sassyhood—and we totally understand! But we aren’t letting them out of our sight for long. We’re sure you’ll see them more often than not as guest Sassies on SassyScoops.com!

And now for the moment you’ve been waiting for (drum roll, please)…

Ladies, have you ever said to yourself, “Man, I would give my left kidney to be a Sassy!” Well, now you have the chance, and not only that, but you get to keep both kidneys!*

SassyScoops is launching a search for a new group member and we want YOU to be Utah’s Next Top Sassy! The contest will consist of two phases; here’s how it works:

Phase I, February 7th through February 14th

• Create a short video (no longer than 90 seconds) and upload the video to our SassyScoops page on Facebook.
  • The video must include why you would make a great Sassy and what you can contribute to the group. (Tip: Mention of Snuggies, unicorns and Diet Coke will earn you points in Sassy Heaven.)
• Get your friends to “Like” your video. They must also “Like” the SassyScoops FB page to be able to vote.
• Post our contest button on your blog/website (button and code found at the end of this post).
• Voting will end on Tuesday, February 14th, at midnight.
• The four videos/contestants with the most votes (or “Likes”) will advance to the next round.

Phase II, February 21st to February 24th

• Each of the Phase I winners will write up a Sassy-like review of a local Utah business of her choice.
• The review post must be a combination of our Monday/Wednesday/Friday posts.
  • Monday posts provide basic information and background regarding the business.
  • Wednesday posts include answers to five standard questions and ratings in six areas.
  • Friday posts consist of fun, more playful information about the visit.
  • Please include pictures and video in your review.
• The first review will go live Monday, February 21st. The remaining reviews will go live Tuesday through Thursday, one each day.
• The final winner will be determined by the current Sassies; however, we strongly encourage you to have your readers and fans leave comments and words of support.
• The winner will be announced on Friday, February 25th.
