QUESTION
What was your first impression?
.
THE SCOOP
Camille: The calming aroma of the quaint waiting room once we walked in. And I was impressed with Brighton: intelligent, kind, informative and patient. She provided so much insight into the history and reasons for acupuncture and endured all our questions and comments!
Emily: I second Camille’s first impression: the calming sensation I felt as I walked through those front doors. And of course Brighton was not only sincere, patient (we had A LOT of questions) and kind but smart to boot!
Kalli: Clean and modern; I like that.
Michelle: Brighton was really friendly and had really great information to share. She is passionate about what she does and loves helping people find solutions.
Quinn: Loved the colorful, downtown location. Brighton and her staff were so sweet and inviting.

QUESTION
What did you like the most?
.
THE SCOOP
Camille: That it seemed acupuncture can treat a whole host of symptoms, diseases, incongruencies, etc. And the needles didn’t hurt like I expected them to.
Emily: I really and truly loved sitting there listening to Brighton explain the ins and outs and what, where and why of acupuncture. I also thoroughly enjoying going for a test “needling” and discovering even in the sensitive part of my ear, I could hardly feel that sad excuse for a needle. (“Sad excuse” as in I wish more needles were that tiny and painless!)
Kalli: I liked Brighton’s focus on treating children. Since becoming a mother I’ve certainly been more aware of what’s going into my kid’s body medication-wise and would love another approach to treat maladies other than pumping him full of drugs.
Michelle: I like that you can barely feel the tiny needles. I am not a needle person, but these are so small you can barely see them.
Quinn: I love all of Brighton’s pediatric experience. I visited another acupuncturist years ago but would only trust my kids to go to Brighton because of her strong pediatric background and love of helping kids.

QUESTION
What didn’t you like?
.
THE SCOOP
Camille: For someone who lives in Utah County, it would be inconvenient to go downtown on a regular basis to receive repeated treatment.
Emily: Really and truly I can’t think of a thing except Brighton not having any of that delicious orange cream fish and flaxseed oil supplement in stock. That stuff puts my current supplement—fish-oil burps and all—to shame.
Kalli: I was disappointed I couldn’t be needled. I was anxious to try it out!
Michelle: I wish the procedure room had a more serene and relaxing feeling. It would be awesome if it smelled really great and had some Bonsai and a little fountain or something.
Quinn: I wish we could have tried more to get a feel of what the treatments do, but I completely understand why it wasn’t a good idea. After all, she didn’t have a medical history on each of us.

QUESTION
Would you recommend Utah Family Acupuncture & Herbs to a friend?
.
THE SCOOP
Camille: Yes! I think Brighton would work well with anyone of different ages and personalities.
Emily: Totally. I’m considering going back for some facial rejuvenation once I hit the big 4-0. She also has a protocol for the abdomen—another area I’d love to “rejuvenate.” Plus, I’d like to try some of the supplements she carries.
Kalli: Likely I would; I already talked to my sister about treating her daughter for allergies.
Michelle: I would definitely let friends know about the benefits they could receive from visits with Brighton. She seems really great.
Quinn: Absolutely. I’ve already taken my son in to see her since the review and have been absolutely THRILLED with the results as well as how good she was to my son while we were in her office.
