QUESTION
What was your first impression?
.
THE SCOOP
Camille: Crystal was very personable, greeted me with that gorgeous smile of hers and was very knowledgeable about hair and various products.
Emily: Disclaimer: I met Crystal a while back so I already knew how nifty she was, especially when I saw the dang cute A-line pixie cut she gave Quinn’s daughter. Oh, and she’d given my oldest two haircuts a while back and they were great!
Kristina: Crystal was very friendly and easygoing. I felt like I wanted to tell her about all my problems and life story. I think she was probably glad I refrained from sharing my most intimate details. Maybe next time!
Michelle: It was a little hard to find in the strip mall because the sign on the building is somewhat hidden from some angles.
Quinn: Crystal is really sweet and friendly (not to mention she has awesome hair!).
Stephanie: Crystal was very friendly and outgoing. And she had amazing hair. That is always a plus when going to a stylist.
Vanessa: Crystal is a sweetheart; she is very friendly and personable. I didn’t love the location where she is renting the booth; it’s not bad but not good.

QUESTION
What did you like the most?
.
THE SCOOP
Camille: I loved the curls and volume she created – just with a small round brush! She has convinced me to spend a little more time on my hair rather than leave it in the ponytail look.
Emily: I love what a master she is with makeup. And I’ve seen her food styling skills firsthand as well–she rocks!
Kristina: She really did a great job with the cut I had. It was simple, but she added a lot of texture to my blunt cut. I walked in the salon looking like Wilford Brimely and left looking like Heidi Klum.
Michelle: Having my hair have a shape and style again. I waited way too long to get it cut and Crystal made it feel healthy and manageable again.
Quinn: I love how artistic Crystal is with my haircuts. She really works to give me what I want in the most flattering way possible.
Stephanie: She taught me how to round brush my hair. I have always struggled with it and she gave me a few tips and tricks so I can do it at home.
Vanessa: How friendly, personable and intelligent she was with the girls and me. She gave me some real applicable tips on my hair and taught me in a way I could understand and do it at home.

QUESTION
What didn’t you like?
.
THE SCOOP
Camille: The salon was a little hard to find but probably because I wasn’t familiar with the area.
Emily: Even though I live in Sandy I didn’t love the location (not the up-and-coming salon in which I’d picture Crystal) and it was a bit tricky to find. Plus we didn’t have the best fake eyelash application experience. Apparently my eyes are extremely sensitive to a glue 99% of the population isn’t sensitive to.
Kristina: The salon itself is very, very outdated. They also do not have a receptionist, so the stylists have to take turns answering the phone. Crystal had to stop working on my hair probably three times during our time together in order to take calls.
Michelle: I’m not a huge fan of the location. When I get my hair done I like the salon to feel kind of swanky and relaxing.
Quinn: I dunno; if there’s been a time I haven’t loved how my hair looks, I tell her and she changes it until it’s perfect (aka “my opinion of perfect”).
Stephanie: The location was difficult to find. It is tucked away in a mini-mall off the main street of the address.
Vanessa: Call-aheads on appointments are a must; being there on time is important too. And also I would love to see her in a better setup of a salon.

QUESTION
Would you recommend Crystal to a friend?
.
THE SCOOP
Camille: Yes! Crystal seems to work well with all hair types and styles, of all ages. I could almost guarantee they would walk away a satisfied customer!
Emily: For sure! And I’m planning to take my girls back for their summer styles!
Kristina: I would definitely recommend Crystal to a friend. But only a friend I really, really loved because I would be OK with her looking better than me, which she will, if she goes to Crystal.
Michelle: I would recommend Crystal for someone in the Sandy area, but I wish she were at another location.
Quinn: Absolutely. My family and I have gone for to Crystal for years and we are always recommending her (cuz she’s awesome!).
Stephanie: Yes. I would recommend Crystal to any of my friends or family. She navigated through my crazy hair so I know she could handle anything.
Vanessa: I would recommend Crystal especially to friends who want something new, fun and trendy. She can do some really awesome things with hair! I will be back with my girls; their dance studio is only a few minutes away and they loved Crystal.
