Follow-Up Friday & GIVEAWAY: Smashin’ burgers!

What is it about Smashburger that makes them unique? First of all, you can be assured that what you’re eating is real, 100% Angus beef. Fresh, not frozen – smashed, seared, and seasoned onto a flat grill. All the condiments, produce, and cheeses are the real deal as well. Everything is fresh. And once you bite into that delicious sandwich, the juices and grilled, smoky flavor immediately tell you it’s true. Smashburger is your indoor summer BBQ party all year long.

The Sassies were honored to be invited by Smashburger, along with our families, to experience their amazing menu in Draper, UT.  We were greeted at the doors with open arms (figuratively and literally).  It was as if to say, “You look hungry.  Make yourselves comfortable. Our home is your home.  Please spill fruit punch on our  brand new carpet (sorry about that Smashburger).”  Not a lot of conversation was taking place during the event as you’ll witness in the video.  Our focus was on narrowing down the menu items, and eventually filling our mouths with the amazing food.

Other smashing options you’ll find on the menu are:

Smashfries: tender, crispy fries, tossed with rosemary, olive oil, garlic, and other herbs for a savory flavor

Veggie-frites: flash-fried asparagus spears, carrot sticks, and green beans.

Smashwedge: a large wedge of crisp iceberg lettuce, topped with bacon, chopped tomatoes, red onions, blue cheese crumbles and blue cheese dressing.

And of course, the unique-to-Utah Beehive Burger: honey BBQ sauce, applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese and haystack onions on an egg bun.

I think it’s safe to say that you will not be disappointed, after a visit to your local Smashburgers, with anything found on the menu.  Check out the milkshake moustaches and food residue on our kiddos’ faces (and ours too, let’s be honest) as proof.
