Our families were taken on a short tour of the museum and I was surprised to see the variety of pieces and styles represented. My two year old enjoyed trying to emulate the face on a certain blue head sculpture and seeing if he could beat mommy to the “do not touch” items.

The museum offers free activity days designed for children 4-12 years of age year round on the 3rd Saturday of every month. The hands on activities run from 2 to 4 pm in the Emma Eccles Jones Education Center Classroom. There is no reservation required.Participation is on a first come first serve basis.

During our visit, the activity was learning about printing. We were able to go through the process of seeing one of our drawings printed on to large post cards. This was a hit with the kids and adults alike!
