Follow-up Friday: Utah’s Own Storytelling Festival

The Timpanogos Storytelling Festival was magical indeed. With storytellers that came from all over, it’s was an amazing weekend to be up in the Provo Canyon!

Timpanogos Storytelling Festival

My children loved every minute of it, there was so much to see and do. Puppetry, magic tricks, fire jugglers, and pottery were just some of the fun to be had for the kids. One of the best parts was taking my son to hear the ‘Bedtime Stories’! He was enthralled as he watched each teller re-tell their stories.

Juggling Fire

My parents and I hit up the ‘Laugh In’ night, the culmination of the festival. 12 of the best storytellers from around the world were right there! I loved Angela Lloyd’s washboard playing, and Donald Davis’s snake story had my mom in hysterics! I was a child again, felling like I was there in the story!

Were you there this weekend? What was your favorite story?
