“Utah has welcomed Smashburger with open arms,” said Smashburger’s president, Scott Carne. “We can’t wait for Draper residents to taste Smashburger’s ‘better burgers’ and become the city’s favorite place for burgers.”  Smashburger just opened theirfourth location in the area on March 3rd, and the Sassies (along with husbands and kiddos) were invited the day before to check it out!  The Sassies met with all of the owners, employees, press team, etc. to learn how Smashburger came to be, what it will bring to Draper, AND most importantly, HOW IT TASTES!

So what are they bringing to Utah? To represent the tastes of Utahns,Smashburger put together a special Beehive Smashburger made with US in mind. The Beehive Smashburger starts with one-third or half-pound 100 % certified Angus beef burger which is then topped with honey BBQ sauce, applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese and haystack onions on a toasted egg bun.

Not a red meat guy or gal? The have a Beehive SmashCHICKEN version. They also heard that out here in Utah we like shakes.  The grasshopper flavor was a bit new to them, but when they heard about it,they made sure to add a grasshopper mint shake made with Haagen-Dazs ice cream t0 their menu.
