What was your first impression?

THE SCOOP

Emily: It felt like a real pizza place, the kind I remember from childhood days. I absolutely LOVED the crazy, “all lights and all action” gumball machine!
Jyl: Awesome! This restaurant is so close to my house.
Marie: Family Friendly atmosphere, and it smelled yum-o.
Quinn: Looked like a family-friendly place; comfortable place to bring the whole family.
Vanessa: A clean pizzeria, friendly staff and lots of room. The place was not smushed seating and layout wise.

What did you like the most?

Emily: Pretty much every dang pizza on that menu. The gourmet chicken garlic is my favorite, followed by the gourmet veggie, pepperoni, barbecue chicken, cheese and new margarita pizzas. Oh, and the dessert pizza is to die for–I’m wiping the drool just thinking about it!
Jyl: 1) The owner and his family are really friendly. 2) I loved my custom pizza with feta cheese, fresh tomatoes, and white sauce. It should definitely go on the menu! 3) Free wi-fi!!!
Marie: Dessert pizza all the way!!!
Quinn: Of course, the dessert pizza – oh. my. yumminess!!!!! I also loved all the variety of pizzas they had on the pizza bar; definitely not just the average “cheese, pepperoni, etc.” which made it fun! Oh yeah! And the salad bar had great variety too.
Vanessa: The price on the buffet and the dessert pizza! Also the incredibly friendly staff, they are really superb.

Emily: Hmmm…I think watching Rachael make her own pizza. I feared for her life when she tried to remove it from the oven. (She really should stick to her day job.)
Jyl: I don’t like pizza, so I was thrilled they offered me a custom option.
Marie: I would have liked a few more options on the buffet.
Quinn: That my stomach wasn’t large enough to fit as much food as my eyes wanted.
Vanessa: They need to make the pizzas a bit faster for the buffet! (Emily’s note: Especially when you have at least six women waiting anxiously for dessert pizza…)

Emily: Totally! I’ve already been back once and before this review, Rock Creek Pizza Co. was a regular visit when my dad was in town!
Jyl: I’ve already have been back—twice in fact! I reserved their party room for two big events I had. They were both successful!
Marie: Yes, really great pizza.
Quinn: For sure! Already have, in fact. One of my favorite places to go now.
Vanessa: Yes, when out of towners come we take them here for an affordable dinner out and everyone enjoys it.
