QUESTION

What was your first impression?
.

THE SCOOP

blendfashions_carinaAllison: I love the layout of the store; I was totally overwhelmed by cuteness right from the get-go.
Carina: The space is bright and cheery, I like the mirrors they’ve used and how they’ve laid out the clothing racks. Also, I noticed the Huggable Hangers–it’s kind of cool to see them in use in real life. Well, cool if you’re a nerd, which I am not.
Emily: A little off the beaten path but well worth the hunt!
Jyl: Summer’s in the air. So happy to see swim suits out!
Marie: Hip, swanky, fun, friendly.
Quinn: I really loved the store layout. It’s really hip & fun with lots of clever touches, like the dressing rooms that have funky, heavy brown curtains strung on industrial metal rods.
Vanessa: Organized (some clothing stores can be a mess and overwhelming), Natural atmosphere, killer designer jeans and one of a kind tops.

QUESTION

What did you like the most?

.
THE SCOOP

Allison: The dressing rooms were really great, just different enough to have a little sass!
Carina: Blend has put together a good collection of items, almost curated. I was even surprised by the prices, very reasonable for a boutique.
Emily: The extra care taken when designing the fabulous dressing rooms and the variety of brands, styles and prices you can try on in said dressing rooms.
Jyl: The bracelet made from recycled tea pots. Seriously, how cute is that?
Marie: I felt like I could hang out with my friends out shopping for hours. Wait, we did!
Quinn: I loved the variety of clothes & how many fun, unique designs they had in stock. I am also a very big fan of Shabby Apple & Mod Bod & liked seeing their collections all in one locale. I also liked how they carry really cool men’s & children’s clothing.
Vanessa: The variety! Sure they had some high end stuff but it was also mixed with tons of affordable lines.

QUESTION

What didn’t you like?

.
THE SCOOP:

Allison: It was a little more pricey than I like.
Carina: Honey, I thought I would like the maxi dresses, so I put one one and then couldn’t pull it off because of the girls in front. I eventually shimmied out of that one with a great deal of twisting, strategic tugging, and a vow to buy a minimizer. So, a warning to my well-endowed sisters, the maxis are for the looking and touching, and not for the putting on you.
Emily: I didn’t like the fact that everything I picked was by Free People, which meant way out of my price range! But I did find a super scrumptious dress and a fab black coat–they accompanied me home!
Jyl: The location—a bit busy and hard to pull in/back out. The clothes and jewelry also were priced a bit high.
Marie: The parking!
Quinn: I wish the things I really, really wanted were more affordable for my budget right now, but I guess I can’t really say that because there were so many other things I liked that were affordable… hmmm…
Vanessa: Wish they had more for girls! I spend way too much money on clothes for my two little girls, they could totally take advantage of that.

QUESTION

Would you visit again?

.
THE SCOOP:

blendfashions_jylAllison: Yes, if I was looking for a boutique-y something for a special occasion.
Carina: I am going back! I think it’s one of those shops where you just need to stop in every once in a while to see what new things they’ve received. I can’t wait to find out what they’ll have in next.
Emily: I live in the Salt Lake area so I wouldn’t head down south just for Blend, but if I’m in the area I will definitely stop by!
Jyl: If I needed cute clothes, especially a shirt, I’d absolutely return to this fun boutique! I’ve recommended it to several of my friends.
Marie: Yes, they have a great selection of clothes. I want the jeans Vanessa was wearing. And the jewelry is darling.
Quinn: Absolutely! The next time I have an occasion where I need to freshen up my wardrobe & find something new (especially for business), I’m going to stop at Blend first.
Vanessa: Most definitely, for unique one of a kind clothing, sometimes I feel that everyone seems to be wearing the same stuff in Utah. This boutique is just what Utah needed.
