I think one of the Sassies said it best when she proclaimed, “The Leonardo is like a children’s museum for adults!”
We all came to the conclusion that The Leonardo is the perfect place for a Friday night date with your special someone. Let us show you why.
You can stare for hours at the Hylozoic Veil and try to get it to react to you.
You can Tweet @LeoArtWall a list of colors and watch them show up in lights right before your eyes. (You can even do it right now and let others enjoy the colors you have selected!) This brilliant display (made from recycled milk jugs!) also shows you the weather in colors and lights of any city in the world.
Bottom line: Don’t forget your smart phone when you head out on your date!
You can check out local stats from around the state–like which areas of Utah are the most fertile, have the highest high school drop-out rate and which counties to steer clear of due to their stats on aggravated assault. Yikes! This was a really interesting and highly interactive display that had us “ohhhing” and “awwwing.”
You can contribute to the on-going community art projects or watch one of the masters work on their current work of art.
You can work a little magic with a green screen. Warning: If you wear green like Kristina, you may look like a floating head. (It’s a good look on you, Kristina. Really, it is.)
You can sit on a uber comfy couch and giggle at the “then and now” photo display.
What you don’t want to miss at The Leonardo:
- Watching your skeleton shake it’s groove thang.
- Creating a still motion movie that you can take home with you.
- Giving a spit sample at the Gene Lab.
- Understanding and trying on prosthetic limbs made my a local company.
- Having your mind blown my various photography and sculpture exhibits.
It’s clear that The Leonardo is the hot, new date night location. Come on down and get curious while holding the hand of your beloved.
We will see you there.
