About the Sassies

One night a group of girlfriends were sitting in a restaurant booth during one of their too-few-and-too-far-between girls’ nights out. While sharing their takes on local businesses, Vanessa, Quinn and Emily stumbled upon a sweet idea: Why not make this happy evening a regular event and why not share it with all their scattered friends? Each Sassy was an accomplished businesswoman in her own right and passionate about supporting neighborhood establishments. The Sassies loved to call, email and tweet each other and just knew they could help get the word out about the latest tasty, local flavors. So slide into the booth with us…we’re sharing the scoop with you.

It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, handsome, fabulous and talented? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us. It is not just in some; it is in everyone. And, as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~Marianne Williamson
